Skull Water Pipes
These hand carved table model water pipes are unique in color and decoration. I do use a series of motifs when carving and glazing the skulls but the decorations and colors on each is unique and never exactly repeated. The pipes shown below are from my Chinese and Celtic motifs and I'm developing Aztec and Egyptian hieroglyphic motifs.
The skull body stands 7 to 8 inches tall, 5 inches wide and around 6 inches long. The heavy-duty wall thickness varies from 3/8 to 1/2 inch (3 to 4 times the thickness of a standard coffee cup) so it could possibly survive an accidental drop on a carpeted floor.
The removable bowl is about as big around as a dime at the bottom spreading out to a little bigger than the size of a quarter at the top and is about as deep as the first joint on your thumb is tall. The hole in the bowl is a little bigger than the stem of a Q-tip so may need a glass screen. This is required because of the larger capacity of the bowl and the fact that the pipe will probably be shared so I wanted to reduce the amount to time spent cleaning.
The hole in the water tube (attached to the bottom of the bowl) is about 1/4 inch in diameter so it goes a long time between cleanings yet is quickly cleanable with a 12 inch pipe cleaner and 151 Rum or other high proof alcohol. The fully-washable hose is 32 inches long for easy sharing with a smoothly gloss-glazed mouthpiece for easy cleaning.
The pictures below represent a style of pipe that I produce. Any or all of the pipes shown may have already been sold but I'm always making more of this style. All of the pipes I'll bring to your store for review will be as colorful, unique and well crafted as the ones below.
